More process from the first vector
I’m not quite sure where I’m going.
It turned into more of an Illustration.
This might expand at a later time.
Senior Project 2012 | Process Illustration.
Experimenting with form and texture.
Dr. Boente with his new coffee cup. Designed by yours truly.
Note: I used sharpee’s new oil paint markers to do this. I have no idea what will happen if it goes through the dish washer. But it does take rigorous scrubbing to get it off by hand. I would advise simply rinsing it and washing the inside occasionally.
Coffee Cup design. This was a project I quickly did for my mother. She wanted me to “Aesthetically Improve” Dr. Boente’s new coffee cup. Reward: 6 New Paint Markers.
Motion Reel 2011
Writing an Essay concerning the fetishistic properties of this female powerhouse. Another example here. She is the bad girl, sex kitten of Battlestar Galactica. Danger of a single story [p.03] Infographic WIP 04
WIP Infographic of Chimamanda’s TED talk: The Danger of a Single Story”. Now at 51 seconds.
Another Lesson Learned:
In order to depict the visuals accurately, you must also understand the writers strategy for displaying information. Since the beginning of scene two, I wanted to simply throw images of poor starving children as the most potent single story, whenever mentioned. The writer is purposefully leaving information out and slowly uncovering it to moderate the viewers epiphany. The designer must be aware of the writers strategy, otherwise there will be an inconsistency, rendering the visuals as less effective.
just chiiiiiiiiiill, and get your shit done.
A nice moment that wont actually be seen in the Motion Graphic I’m currently working on.
